Payment and Cancellation Terms

  1. Order

1.1 A written order from the guest is required for the price quote given by our employee in writing or by phone. By placing this order, the guest accepts the hotel's payment and cancellation conditions and the General Terms and Conditions. The order must include the arrival and departure dates, and the names of the guests. Our employees finalize the reservation based on the order and prepare a confirmation.
1.2. When using online booking systems, we always send a written confirmation, in which all the details of the reservation are recorded.

  1. Cancel booking

2.1 Cancellation of the order must always be notified in writing.
2.2 The reservation can be cancelled 48 hours before arrival without penalty, otherwise the penalty is 1 night's room rate.

2.3 If the guest arrives on a later day or departs earlier within the confirmed stay period, he/she is obliged to pay 100% of the confirmed amount for the entire booked period.
2.4 If the Contracting Party has secured the use of the accommodation services by deposit payment, credit card guarantee, or in another manner specified in the Contract, and does not arrive by 23:00 local time on the day of arrival or does not indicate in advance that he/she will arrive at a later time, the Hotel will enforce the penalty specified in the Contract. In this case, the accommodation will be reserved for the Guest until 10:00 on the day following the arrival date, after which the Service Provider's service obligation will cease.
2.5 Unexpected situations (illness, accident, family event, adverse weather conditions, traffic obstacles, etc.) may occur before and during the trip, therefore, we recommend that our guests take out travel cancellation insurance with an insurance company of their choice on the day of booking.
2.6 In the case of individual and promotional offers, cancellation conditions are determined according to the terms and conditions stated in the offer.
2.7 There is no possibility of a monetary refund for services (accommodation, meals, treatments, etc.) booked but not used or modified during the Guest's stay at the hotel.
2.8 In the case of booking products subject to special conditions, group travel, or events, the Service Provider may establish conditions that differ from the above, set out in an individual Contract.
2.9 The conditions for the withdrawal of the Contracting Party are based on the current Government Decree (45/2014. (II.26)).

  1. Change order

3.1 Any modification of the reservation must be notified in writing.
3.2 It is possible to move an already finalized and confirmed reservation to another date, to change the number of people or the room type, depending on the currently valid prices and the free capacity, no later than 2 days before arrival. In case of modification request within 2 days before arrival, the cancellation conditions come into effect.

  1. Payment terms

4.1 The room reservation is guaranteed either by confirmation or by payment of the deposit stated therein. Payment can be made online or by bank transfer. We kindly ask you to send a copy of the deposit payment voucher (with name, address, order number, or VAT invoice if required, tax number and issue address) to the Service Provider. Processing of payments may take 1-4 banking days.

4.2 The remaining amount of the ordered services is paid by the guest at the reception upon arrival.
4.3 In the case of short-term reservations or to cover the expected on-site consumption, the hotel may request a bank card guarantee
4.4 In the case of special offers, the payment, modification and cancellation conditions may change, which are included in the written confirmation.
4.5 In the case of reservations subject to advance payment, the room reservation will be canceled if the payment is not received.
4.6 Accepted payment methods and currencies: cash, bank transfer, bank card, Széchenyi Pihenő Card. Hungarian Forint and Euro.
4.7 Any costs related to the use of any payment method shall be borne by the Contracting Party or its SZÉP card/credit card.
Travel agencies / Tour operators / OTAs / Collaborating partners:
The contract concluded with the service provider contains the individual payment terms.
4.8 Gift voucher:
A gift voucher purchased directly can be used within the validity period and value specified on it. The full value of the voucher must be paid in advance. The voucher loses its validity beyond the redemption period and cannot be extended.
